NWS 2015 Board Member and exhibiting artist, Jeanne Hyland known for her lively and informative demonstrations and inspiring, colorful, workshops. Originally trained in sculpture, Jeanne adopted watercolor as her medium after moving to California where she taught at Brand Library Studios, the LA Academy of Figurative Art, and Learning & Product Expo (Pasadena). Jeanne now lives and teaches in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, Artisan’s ART Spot and “Creative Fusion” Expo (Santa Fe) and other locations nationally and internationally.  Her work has been exhibited in International Watercolour Biennial, American and National Watercolor Societies, Watercolor West, San Diego, Southwestern, New Mexico, and Valley Watercolor Societies, and WAOW, Inc. shows. She is included in the International Artist Publication: How Did You Paint That? 100 ways to paint still lifes and florals Vol. II and is a contributor to a 2013 North Light book, Creative Freedom.
